Rumors have been flying about the rumored Motorola X, and as the possible August unveiling is fast approaching, we have a little more information on this mysterious device.
So far, we know that it will have an estimated 4.7-inche 720p display, a 1.7 GHz Snapdragon chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, will run Android 4.2.2 and include a removable battery. The obvious focus will be on the accompanying features rather than the hardware. To add to all of that, the gang at Phone Arena recently received a picture (see below) of a Motorola XT1056 device being tested on Sprint’s 4G LTE network, and we are thinking it may be the mysterious Motorola X phone (a slight Sprint variant of the AT&T’s XFON that sports “5G” Wi-Fi and NFC.)

Of course this mystery XT1056 device could be some sort of other Motorola unit that’s in the works, but we’ll go ahead and speculate that we’re probably looking at the X phone. Keep checking back between now and August for any other rumored details!
